Gujranwala City Punjab



Gujranwala is an industrial city in Gujranwala DistrictPunjab province of Pakistan. It is the seventh-most-populousPakistani metropolitan areas, and is one of the fastest-growing cities in the world. Gujranwala is 226 metres (744 ft) above sea level. It shares borders with Ghakhar Mandi, Alipur Chatha, Kamonke and several small towns and villages. Punjabi is the local language but English and Urdu are also commonly spoken, particularly in schools and offices.
Due to extensive road and rail links, the city's manufacturing and agricultural sectors have flourished. Gujranwala is on the Grand Trunk Road, connecting it with provincial capitals such as Peshawar and Lahore andIslamabad, Pakistan's capital. The city is located between LahoreGujratand Sialkot.
Gujranwala is known for its production of sugarcane, melons and grains for export; it exports one of the world's finest varieties of rice. The city has commercial and industrial centres for manufacturing ceramics, fans, electrical-switch gears, engineering tools, earth-moving machinery, steel, cutlery, crockery, iron safes, metal tools, utensils, textiles, woolen sweaters, sanitary fittings and leather. It has produced some of the best-known wrestlers and bodybuilders on the subcontinent, resulting in its nickname "city of wrestlers" (Palwana da shehr in local Punjabi).

Gojra City Punjab



Gojra (PunjabiUrduگوجرہ‎), the administrative seat of Gojra Tehsil, is a city of Toba Tek Singh District in the Punjab province of Pakistan, and is located 30  miles (50 km) from Faisalabad, 125 km from Burewala, 157 km from Vehari and 20 miles (32 km) north of Toba Tek Singh. It has a history of more than hundred years, and being the centre of the cultivated lands, the village was known for its "Mandi" (market) for cash crops. The predominantly Muslim population supported Muslim League and Pakistan Movement. After the independence of Pakistan in 1947, the minority Hindusand Sikhs migrated to India while the Muslim refugees from India settled in Gojra.

Ghakhar Mandi City Punjab


Ghakhar City, formerly known as Ghakhar Mandi, is a city in the Gujranwala district of Pakistan, located between the major cities ofGujranwala to the southeast and Wazirabad to the northwest. Surrounding villages include Kotli Sahian, Kot Waris, Bhatti-Mansoor, Dodah Wali-Kalan, Dodah Wali-Khurd, Rahwali, Adil Gharh, Nat Kalaan, Kotli Mango Singh, Bado-Ki, Nora Kot, Per Kot, Banka Chemma, Dab Cheema, Faty Ghar, Ibbenwali Kakan and Chandigharh. Punjabi is the official local language, butEnglish and Urdu are also commonly used businesses and governmental offices.
The city also has a historic train station in the center of the city. The historicGrand Trunk Road (G.T. Road), which was built by Sher Shah Suri, passes through the city.

Fateh Jang City Punjab


Fateh Jang (also FatehjangFatehjungFatehgarhFatehgunj orFatehganj) is a town and the tehsil headquarters of Attock District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It contains a Civil Hospital, the Al Noor Clinic, a stadium in the northern part of the town and two notable mosques.
It is located nearly 25 miles southwest of IslamabadPakistan, on the Rawalpindi-Kohat or the Rawalpindi-Mianwali road. The new location ofNew Islamabad International Airport is on the Rawalpindi-Fateh Jang Road, and construction has started.

Fzasilabad City Punjab



Faisalabad formerly known as Lyallpur, is thethird largest metropolis in Pakistan, the second largest in the province ofPunjab after Lahore, and a major industrial center in the heart of Pakistan. The city was renamed "Faisalabad" in honour of King Faisal of Saudi Arabia.
Also known as the Manchester of Pakistan, Faisalabad remains an important industrial city west of Lahore. The city-district of Faisalabad is bound on the north by the districts of Hafizabad and Chiniot, on the east byNankana Sahib, on the South-East by Okara, on the South Sahiwal & Toba Tek Singh, and on the west by Jhang.
The city is at a road and railway junction, which has played an influential role in the development of Faisalabad's trade and economy. The surrounding countryside, irrigated by the Lower Chenab River, has seen expanded production of cottonwheatsugarcanevegetables, and fruits, which form 55% of Pakistan's exports. The city is an industrial centre with major railway repair yards, engineering works, and mills that process sugar,flour, and oil seed. Produce includes superphosphatescotton and silktextiles, hosierydyesindustrial chemicalsbeverages, apparels, pulp and paper, printing, agricultural equipment, and ghee (clarified butter). Faisalabad is the site of the prestigious University of Agriculture, founded in 1909.

Dipalpur City Punjab



Dipalpur also written as Depalpuris a city in Okara District of the Punjab and headquarters of Depalpur Tehsil, assumed to be largest tehsil of Pakistan. It is situated 25 kilometres from the district capital Okara on a bank of the Beas River in Bari Doab. The Tehsil is notable for being the site of several battles in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries and is also associated with the history of the Bhatti clan. Punjabi is the most spoken language in the region. Rao,Arain,Wattoo,Klasson (jatt), Bhatti, Joiya are the main casts.

Diga City Punjab



Dinga is a city of Gujrat District in the Punjab province of Pakistan.[1] It lies between the rivers Jhelum and Chenab. The main highway that runs fromLahore to Rawalpindi is about 25 km northeast of Dinga. Dinga is about 100 km from the border that separates Pakistan and India, the city is famous in Pakistan for meethi saunf (sugar-coated aniseeds).
